Facewound was a retro, side-scrolling indie shooter developed by Facepunch Studios in the early aughts. I worked on the score and sound design from 2004 to 2006, striving for to blend some of my favorite game soundtrack elements together. The game was shelved before completion but a playable alpha version was released into the wild, warts and all.

In 2018, I dusted off an old hard drive and began some digital archaeology. Many of the songs had passable mixes, others, I needed to track down the FL Studio session files and reconstitute them. I had a remix of the game-over music that was mostly there but needed pizzazz.I recorded some new parts, added real guitar, reamped some of the fake ones, and remastered everything.
